Closure Dates & Reason 【Due to the earthquake occurred on April 3, 2024, the Zhuilu Old Road and Mt. Qingshui in Taroko National Park have been damaged. In order to ensure the safety of visitors, the above two trails remain closed continuously. Moreover, the applications for these routes have been suspended. Zhuilu Old Road	Zhuilu Old Road	第3級	Zhuilu Old Road is open daily from 7 AM to 5 PM;hikers are required to enter the trail between 7AM and 10 AM. The trail is 3.1 km (round-trip), and hikers enter and exit via the Eastern checkpoint near Zhuilu Suspension Bridge/Swallow Grotto. Zhuilu Old Road no need to apply Police Mountain Permit. (e.g., if a sea warning is issued, the Park will close the trail and your Park Entry Permit would become automatically void.) If your itinerary shows an existing route, we'll reject your application and your will need to resubmit another application.
